Letter from the Editor
Dears Readers,
It’s hard to believe it’s September already! 2019 has flown by in the blink of an eye. Interesting how time works. One moment it’s dragging on, the next you have absolutely no idea where it’s gone.
It’d be funny except I find it a little terrifying. It makes one wonder — how is time measured? Who decided on the system we go by? What genius decided that 60 seconds make up a minute, and that 60 minutes make up an hour, and that 24 hours make up a day? Maybe you have the answer; if so, tell me. I have a few bones to pick with him/her/them, but in the meantime, I’ll curse them every time my alarm goes off in the morning.
We’ve got a few updates regarding TwistiT Press! This is our book line-up (so far) for the next year:
Zglevians on the Move by Roppotucha Greenberg (November 2019)
FLUTTER: a southern gothic fever dream by Kristin Garth (January 2020)
Boleyn by Juliette SebockĀ (May 19, 2020)
Confess: The untold story of Dorothy Good by Juliette van der Molen (October 2020)
Amazing, right!? I think so too!
This is an exciting issue! While I always try to have a little bit of everything, this issue has more time travel than the others! There’s some more cheekiness, some more grit. It makes me happy to see Twist in Time home more and more historical and time travel stories. My love of those kinds of stories birthed this magazine.
From my heart to yours.
Sit back, relax, and prepare to be taken on a journey to somewhen!
Warmly,

Renee Firer
