Dear Readers,

Holy cow! It’s been, as of the moment Issue 7 released, one year since our very first issue! This last year has been a wild ride to be sure. There were ups and downs, stressful moments that almost resulted in some intense hair pulling, and more than a few sleepless nights. But I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything. I’ve pushed myself further than ever before, made incredible friendships, and had the pleasure of working with nearly 200 – TWO HUNDRED! – different writers from all around the world.

Not bad for one year of hard work, right?

That being said, I’m going to be making a few changes. The most important is the change to the issue release scheduling. During 2019, issues were released bi-monthly. Cue the internal screaming! Why would I do something so cruel to myself? Because I’m a masochist, that’s why. To help lighten the load a wee bit, the issues will now be released quarterly. That’s 4 beautiful issues a year for your reading pleasure.

But enough about that! Issue 7 has been a long time coming. I knew from the very start that themed issues were on the agenda. They won’t be every issue, but definitely 1-2 themes a year.

So why fairy tales? Because I’m obsessed with them. I was so happy to see I wasn’t alone. So many submissions flooded my inbox. And while I couldn’t accept them all – and trust me, it was tough narrowing down the selection, so much so that this issue contains more work than any other before it – Issue 7 is a treasure trove.

Dive in and prepare to be taken on a journey to somewhen!
