Birdy Odell is a Canadian artist and writer whose work highlights themes of death, childhood, abandonment, love and reflections on time.  She works primarily in found words and flash fiction, and is the winner of the Saskatchewan Library Association Award for Book Spine Poetry, 2017.  Her work has appeared in Barren Magazine, The Cabinet of Heed, Picture the Dead and will appear in the May issue of Nightingale and Sparrow , (writing as Birdy McDowell).  You can connect with her on ‘Instagram’ and ‘Commaful’ @birdyodell and on her website.
